We have our first look at the Seth Rogen/Zac Efron comedy NEIGHBORS (previously titled TOWNIES) in the form of a new red band trailer:
I laughed a lot at some of those bits including Dave Franco’s amazing De Niro impression, Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s face at 0:38 seconds, and even got a good chuckle at the air bag bit (even though that was some horrendous CGI). It is interesting to see Seth Rogen play a straight laced character and Zac Efron playing the out of control frat boy, going against type for both of them. With the talent involved and the promise this trailer shows, I think NEIGHBORS will be a nice summer comedy that could surprise some people.
NEIGHBORS was directed by Nicholas Stoller (FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL, GET HIM TO THE GREEK) and will be released May 9th, 2014.
