Pixar's actually got something to prove this summer. With RANGO being as good as it was, and KUNG FU PANDA 2 looking mighty good, CARS 2 has to up the scale and deliver on the potential of the first film. This time, they go global, and get involved in some espionage and intrigue:
Not sure about this one yet. I'm a Pixar fanboy, but the first CARS just didn't do it for me like the other releases. I'm not saying it's a bad film - it's not. I think it's mostly Larry the Cable Guy, who just gets on my nerves. But it is a Pixar film, which means they get the benefit of the doubt. CARS 2 opens this summer.
