"Woman" is a Hitchcock-style thriller that probes the mind of a former beauty queen who turns to a life of crime to protect her family....says THIS ARTICLE in Variety. Was it just me, or was anyone else annoyed by how UN-iconic the CLOVERFIELD creature was? It wasn't even as memorable as GINO. Of course, one could legitimately argue that CLOVERFIELD is not about iconography at all..and that its non-descript, difficult-to-grasp nature was itself symbolic... (shrugs)
