2 More Shots From "The Doomsday Machine" on STAR TREK Remastered This Weekend!! Pretty Cool!!

..with a follow-up to yesterday's report about the remastered "Doomsday Machine", which airs this weekend (CLICK HERE for a list of stations and airtimes).
The first picture is a closer upper shot of the Machine's mouth - showing reworked texturing on the Machine's surface in clearer detail. Also note the planetary fragments drifing past in the remastered shot...presumably crumbs from its last meal.

Next: a side view of the battle-ravaged Constellation (Enterprise's sister ship, which is beaten down before the opening of the episode). I like the detailing evident in her battle scarring. I might be wrong about this, but I don't believe we ever saw a (Constellation) ship profile from this close angle in the original version.

Say what you will about the propriety of these "remasterings"...but this lower shot in particular is most certainly an improvement.
