Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

Thanks to Terry Campbell, the guy who sent out the notice to AICN and every other site on the planet, these LEGEND OF ZU clips should be linked from all sorts of different web outlets today. I am gobsmacked by how beautiful this work all seems to be, and I want to see this film immediately. IMMEDIATELY!! I need fantasy like this, something to restore my faith in the power of pure imagination on film. Can't freakin' wait...

Holy Zhang Ziyi batman!!! I found these two beautiful links on the HongKong Cinemagic site from France of THE LEGEND OF ZU!!

Miramax has distribute rights and will show it this Christmas in the US. By director Tsui Hark & Action Director Yuen Woo-Ping. Not sure if the MiraLAX-atives will suprisingly sit on this movie forever, show the film dubbed (a la Jakkie films), or have it in subtitles (a la CTHD)?! The film is already available on VCD in Mainland China only but if you can read Chinese webpages or have a friend/roomate that can.. it's yours! :) I just finished watching it and the film is utterly amazing. It's like Storm Riders meets The Neverending Story. Zhang Ziyi, Sammo Hung, and the rest of the cast are wonderful. HK Cinema lately is really starting to kick f#%@in ass! In the wake of films like The Storm Riders, A Man Called Hero, The Duel, China Strike Force, Gen-y/x, etc. HK films are obviously setting a new standard for action/adventure films which North America has been craving, something new. To no suprise the successes of Matrix, Crouching Tiger, etc. Anyway.. I'll keep this review short and spoiler free because these clips are a total rush and speak for themselves. Please put these links up on your site for everyone to see!!!

The first link below is a clip of footage from the beginning of the film that happens before the credits which is beyond beautiful with musical score while you hear the story being told in Cantoneese. Has a shot of a godlike Sammo Hung with energy flowing all over him and tons... were talking TONS of "Storm Rider"esk special effects. It's breathtaking the visuals and score combined!!!!

The second link below is the actual theatrical trailer showing the beautiful and talented Zhang Ziyi as the main character. Shows lots of fight scenes, special fx, more beautiful Ziyi action, and some wicked costume/set designs.
