PUMPKINHEAD III in the works...

Hey folks, Harry here... a pair of new writers have been hired to pen the next PUMPKINHEAD movie. Now, from what I'm hearing this is not going to be a straight to video hell jobs, but a big screen dealie. Seems that Stan Winston is involved creatively on the project and is attached. Word had it that the first script blew like John Robie, but the new screenwriters happen to be first timers, but with one of them fellowship award thingees on account of being geniuses.

Seems like MGM is working on trying to be cool again. With JEEPERS CREEPERS coming out this month (and it is cool as hell) getting the Pumpkinhead series in good shape again is smart. Word has it that they want the film to be a low-budget 'under 10 million' horror film... GOOD! That means less CG, more real things! And with Stan attached... well, I have more hope for the project! Let's hope this project sails through development happily and easily!
