Here we go... (Click on the titles for the trailers, btw.)
...is "a contemporary tale of terror set in an abandoned insane asylum," opening in limited release August 10 from USA Films (on the heels of some really great buzz; read Moriarty's excellent review here). Directed and co-written by Brad Anderson (who brought us the very charming NEXT STOP WONDERLAND), it stars the extremely underrated David Caruso, Peter Mullan, Brendan Sexton III, Stephen Gevedon and Josh Lucas. ...could be Revolution Studios' redemption. I saw this trailer in front of RUSH HOUR 2 last night, and it kicked my ass - and convinced me that Jet Li could finally become a bona fide star in the U.S. Directed by James Wong, who co-wrote it with his fellow former X-Files writer/producer Glen Morgan, it stars Li, Carla Gugino, Jason Statham, and Delroy Lindo. Opens November 2. [Rated PG-13] Official website: http://www.spe.sony.com/movies/theone/
