Hey folks, Harry here. Seems that Bruce Willis is doing a play up in Idaho and had a chance to sit down with some of the local press to talk about the play he is doing up there. And Bruce had a very interesting non-denial response to the possibility of him doing UNBREAKABLE 2. His answer to Professor Dark's question is a bit jumbled... a tad incoherent, but promising. Here ya go....

I live here in Hailey, Idaho and produce a little town rag for the community
of artists we have here (small town seemingly flooded with paintings and
farmers....odd odd mixture). I had a chance to sit and talk (along with
about 15 other reporters and scum suckers) with Bruce Willis about his play
and his plans. Here is an excerpt. I thought it would tie up some loose ends
about the Unbreakable rumors.
BW: After True West is finished I am going to start another play in the
future. I would really like to do a "Looking for Richard" with another of
Sam's (shepard) plays. They are just rich, and I think that would be kind of
fun.
QUESTION: Can you talk about some of the sequels you have been attached to recently?
BW: How much time do we have here. (laughs) Well I really want to stick to the show but...I can tell you that I have not signed for anything.
REPORTER: No Die Hard 4?
BW: No Die Hard 4, no Sixth Sense 2, no more movies with kids, unless there
mine and that's not going to happen.
Question (me): There was a report that ran on the web yesterday at
aintitcoolnews.com and darkhorizons that said you may be doing Unbreakable
2. Can you talk about that.
BW: Well...I don't have...look I get attached to a lot of movies that I
sometimes don't even know exist. So....Unbreak..
Me: That's not a no.
BW: It's not a no, but it's a....I would do love Sam to come in on it if it
took off. Have him torture my character a bit. Toy with him. they could just
do something without me. I am almost superfluous in that movie. It was
really about him.
Me: Well, you sound like you are..
BW: I have not signed on, and Shamy (nickname?) is doing Signs and he has
some other stuff. We will see.
Question: Have you grown tired of some of the junk that gets made.
BW: Yes I have. If you look at the last few films I have done they are
so....My early work was guns and explosions, which is fine but only in
moderation. I want quality and I want the people who come to see it to not
be sure where everything is heading.
It went on from there and mostly went back to the play. Although he did stray a few more times to talk about the decline of action movies. He must have not thought about that when he made Striking Distance.

Hey Harry how's it going... Ted Smith here. I've been reading up on all the Unbreakable 2 news lately and I have a list of all the additional reports concerning the sequels at my site UNBREAKABLE 2. It's all stuff from around the time of the release of the movie, but it may shed at least a little light on what might happen... quotes from Bruce Willis, Shyamalan, etc. I haven't updated the site in a few months, but it still might be worth checking out. On the main page just click on "The Sequels" and that's where you'll find the news. The rest of the site may be of interest to some of your readers as well with the DVD coming out recently, but that's your call. Keep up the good work!
