Superman Lives not dead!!

Officially Warners says SUPERMAN LIVES ain't dead. Now if only they would crawl back to Kevin Smith and let him get his hands on the film again, perhaps they could have a good script again. Of course this script by panel just might work. Ya know the monkeys and typewriters bit?

I am sending to you is an excerpt from Friday's Pittsburgh Post Gazette.....

"We have been told and continue to be told by the powers that be at Warner Bros. that 'Superman' has been postponed, not canceled." Keezer (director of the Pittsburgh Film Office) said. "Until the time they call us and tell us the movie has been canceled, that's when we'll believe that."

Yesterday, they called-but not with an obituary.

"We truly, truly have not killed it," said Charlotte Kandel, executive vice president of worldwide publicity for Warner Bros. "We have a new script comming in. Nicholas Cage and Tim Burton are still totally associated with the project. We are committed to the project. It is too important to Warner Bros. not to go ahead with it. But we are not going to go ahead with a script that doesn't live up to the potential of the character."

That's all I have for you for now....Just thought that you would like to know.

Sincerely,

The Stew Maker
