Hey folks, Harry here... Now it was a no brainer that DREAMWORKS was going to make a sequel to SHREK, in fact in the 2nd week of release we started hearing about plans being made... Well it seems DREAMWORKS is signing up talent for the film Waaaaaay in advance, they haven't even got a script yet... but I'm sure by year's end they'll have something. And then there is RUSH HOUR 3... which I suppose goes a long ways towards illustrating the confidence that NEW LINE has in this property.... though I have to say, I wish to God that New Line sorted out with Regal Cinemas whatever problems they have, as in Austin.... They'll be losing the best seats in town for LORD OF THE RINGS... which is just plain insane. ARGH

I came across this article on CNN.com. Mike Meyers, Cameron Diaz, and Eddie Murphy are currently under negotiations for a Shrek 2 movie. They're looking at $35,000 an hour! Negotiations should be done by the end of the week, according to the articel.
