Hey folks, Harry here...

Well, I can formally endorse a video store in Austin, Texas!

PEDAZO CHUNK!

PEDAZO CHUNK is run by Sister Satan, Lobo and Kublakhan (intimate familiars here on AICN) and is a labor of love.

Last month I heard shuffling outside my room as I saw Sister Satan making off with vast loads of MASTERS from my vast Tape Collection. Cool Martial Arts stuff, Cult films and Horror. Mere moments before I rammed my Sulu action figure through her chest she belched out, "Don't Kill me, I'm opening a Video Store!"

Then she mentioned DVDS and CDS and I instantly checked both libraries in Geek Headquarters to make sure she wasn't running off with my DVDs and CDs... No, she was merely making off with the films that I have managed to find on DVD (some way groovy stuff!)

Intrigued, I asked, "What are you calling this Video Store?"

PEDAZO CHUNK

"Pedazo Chunk?" I said.

Yes, Pedazo Chunk she said.

What is a PEDAZO CHUNK?

PEDAZO CHUNK is a video store created with the tastes of Sister Satan and LOBO and little Kublakhan.

All the really disturbing weird scary stuff that gives you nightmares... That comes from SISTER SATAN.

The Latin and Spanish Titles that you can get nowhere else in Central Texas... That comes from LOBO.

And the Hitchcock, Lean, Huston, Lang, Ang Lee and other auteurs... well those have been suggested by Kublakhan, film geek in training.

They are working to offer one of the most eclectic selections in Central Texas, and besides... if you want to find a video store where you can chat to a redheaded devil girl about Russ Meyer and the mating habits of serial killers and the finer works of Robert Crumb, whilst singing eloquently about the Italian Neo-Realist movement... then by all means, check out:

PEDAZO CHUNK

2101 South First St

Austin, Texas 78757

512 441 3505

They're open 7 Days a week, from 11am to 10pm... and if you rent something, the free embarrassing stories about Harry Knowles are free!
