Licensing Images: Amazing SPIDER-MAN shot, HULK, SCORPION KING, LOTR, Marvel's film and tv calendar and Animated MUMMY

Hey folks, Harry here... cue salivating... activate.... NOW!

Hey Harry,

'Del Griffith' back again. Went over to the Licensing Show in NYC. You know what this one is all about. As Yogurt told us in SPACEBALLS, "Moichandising! Moichandising! Where the real money from the movie is made." It's truly bizarre to see executives in the same room as a walking Twinkie, Pokemon, and Scooby-Doo, but such is the case at this event.

When not distracted by the plethora of fine-looking women there, I managed to unearth some items of interest. Here goes:

THE SCORPION KING - Due for release in summer 2002 (so says the label from the promotional bottled water they gave out). Also, a "Mummy" cartoon is in the works.

MARVEL COMICS movies - Check out the release calendar and an early one-sheet for the Hulk movie!

SPIDER-MAN - Teaser trailer in theaters this summer. Full length trailer arrives during Thanksgiving/Christmas.

MEN IN BLACK 2 - Teaser trailer hits in November. Full length trailer released spring 2002.

JASON X - The New Line booth had a trailer for this thing. Looks phenomenal. It's "Friday the 13th" in outer space. Jason has a new, buffed-out look -- a cross between Spawn and Iron Man.

LORD OF THE RINGS - Nothing we don't already know, but rest assured there will be plenty of goodies to buy.

That's all for now.
