Information on the THUNDERBIRDS movie is very sketchy, even though the British press is a buzz with it. So the first spy here will be called Stromboli...
Heard today on the Virgin Radio (UK) Breakfast Show from the presenter Chris Evans, that the Thunderbirds film is going ahead. It is a live-action version and the cast has now been chosen. Apparently, Rowan Atkinson cast as Brain.
Chris Evans is a big media star over here and moves in celebrity circles, I would guess from this that the information is reliable.
And this spy will be called Geppeto....

'Oh, yeah, some information about the up and coming Thunderbirds film, they could be making it with CGI (Computer Generated Images).
The actual Thunderbirds will not be the Baldwin brothers + someone else, as previous said. They may have the same 'walk' as the sixties series, but they will be computer generated...... I may be working on the Thunderbirds this summer, because of script revisions, which have caused delays... It would be very cool, wouldn't it?.. The director is the person who directed the recent The Borrowers film.'
He may be correct but there was talk at the village Roadshow Studios of 'Thunderbirds' going there. What transpired was that the sound stages weren't big enough and the studio could only guarantee 5 of the 6 stages, evidently not enough for the production. 'Thunderbirds' pulled out and the word is that they might be shooting in Sydney, Australia. Warners is now expecting a US Si-Fi film in the next few months (don't know the title yet). I guess they could put a lot of workstations in the soundstages for all that CGI, but my money is on live action.
