Hey folks, Harry here with the first word on the next Kevin Costner flick... DRAGONFLY.... Now it should be noted that this movie isn't going to be hitting theaters till the end of the year or possibly first of 2002... So when I say this is an EXTREMELY EARLY TEST SCREENING... I mean it. They could reshoot and re-edit the entire film before it is to be released, so the minor problems that Fiddler on the Roof has with the film... well, in the scope of things... they are minor... However, at best the movie doesn't seem to inspire much enthusiasm... Tom Shadyac's last film... PATCH ADAMS is one of my most loathed money making flicks I've seen... I really dislike that film. BUT hey... this is allegedly a totally different type of film with completely different talent... Right now there is a Dragonflymovie.Com site with a moving little gif title image... Tells you nothing. Here's the first look... and oh yeah... BIG SPOILER BELOW.....

sorry for the spelling mistakes but my english is not that good. a week ago i was in L.A and i got an invitation for an advance screening of DRAGONFLY the new movie directed by Tom Shadyac and starring kevin costner and kathy bates.
its about a doctor who loses his wife in an accident in south america and then starts seeing wierd things and going to visit the children with cancer his wife treated in the hospital and they are also seeing things and one kid almost dies and then he (costner) sees her (the child) and she has a messege for the doctor.
the movie was almost finished. it stil neded some cgi work and had a temp score. and i didnt like it. it was basicly THE SIXTH SENSE meets PATCH ADAMS. watching this movie i had the feeling i had seen it before. there was nothing new. all the while you think there's going to be a suprise at the end and when the suprise comes it's just not big enough to meet you're expectations.
it is not a bad movie. just not a good one. oh and i like kevin costner but his acting here was really bad. it really hurt the movie. there were a few good moments in the movie: one or two scary moments that really made me jump off my chair and a few good jokes. i hope they do something to repair this movie while there is still time cause right now it is a very mediocre film.
