All right, Harry here... we've been seeing mixed reviews about PEARL HARBOR coming in, in fact later today I have an outright negative negative one... But everyone talks about how visually arresting it is... and I'm sure it will be magnificient... but if Michael Bay didn't nail his dramatics and if he went too far with the sentimentality... Well there's a major danger that he may very well have fallen too far into the Spielbergian hell known as over-sentimentality... Something many forgive Spielberg for, but will kill Bay for. So... I'm sitting here wondering how the movie will come out when I get this email about a aerial World War II film that... well, I bet anything its budget is at least an eighth or tenth of PEARL HARBORS, and it's trailer has me wanting to see it because: A) This trailer is willing to show nudity.... B) This trailer's violence seems more visceral and C) Even though I don't know what anyone is saying, they don't seem to be posing for the camera so much. Check out the trailer and see if I'm wrong....
Harry,
First time contributor here. I had a friend point out this trailer to me. He said it'd be "something I would dig". Boy was he right...
I'm a HUGE World War II aviation buff and what I saw simply blew my mind. It's the trailer to a Chech (I think) film about the very subject. I have never seen such gripping aireal combat on film. They've captured the FEEL of combat flying in World War II. Watching it, I was sucked into those combat scenes. It's visually amazing and did I mention the combat...? well, just take a look. It absolutely blew me away.

I so want more information about this movie but I can't find any English sources. Perhaps you can shed more light on it?
I'm stunned.
