How much have you heard about Stephen "BLADE" Norrington's new film that's playing the market at Cannes?
Do you know it's name? Just recently it got an IMDB listing.... there was a mention on the site... actually a couple, but you do know that literally all information about THE LAST MINUTE... well it's come from Stephen Norrington writing in from time to time. HAD HE NOT DONE THAT.... What would you know? Did you even know it was going to be shown at Cannes? What about Walter Hill's new Prison film with Wesley Snipes and Ving Rhames that played at AMERICAN FILM MARKET this year? You hear anything about that? THAT'S WALTER FUCKING HILL! Wesley Snipes! Ving Rhames! You hear much about that? You read production reports? How about test screenings? How about a single damn Set Report?
Hell, Peter Jackson was in development on LORD OF THE RINGS doing major work on it for two years before the press even was made aware of it. Effects work... Test shots... Scripts.... All sorts of stuff. Soon as the cat was let out of the bag though, everyone has been watching... But did you know about FORGOTTEN SILVER while he shot that?
