Gooey Brains, Shattered Safety Glass, Oozing droplets of Blood and Friedkin's THE HUNTED tidbit!!!

Hey folks, Harry here... not much news here, but Daddy Man's experience/brush with Hollywood just made me laugh. There is something deliciously William Castle about his story that makes me giggle nonstop... Read and see if you see what I did....

Hi Harry,

Just call me "Daddy Man". I live in Northwest Portland and while I was walking around this evening with my son and daughter we went past a parking lot near our home that is being used as a staging area for The Hunted.

We did not see any Stars fo the flick but we did get a close up look at the end product of some of todays shooting. It was announced on the news that one of the many tunnels in this area was being blocked off for filming but no details were given. As we were passing the lot a tow truck was bringing in a van, the sort newspapers and such are delivered in, with a bashed up front. Inside you could see all the safety rigging for a driver that had to crash into something rather unforgiving. Anyway the interesting part was what we saw on the windsheild. There was a nice big hole right where you would imagine the head of the driver to be. Some of the glass fragments were dangling outward from the inside. On the inside of the windsheild was a very large red splatter that dripped down the windsheild to the dashboard.

Some of it even leaked out on to the smashed up hood of the van where the windsheild seperated from the molding. Oh yes, there was also a healthy splattering of what appeared to be brains clinging to the inside of windsheild as well. I had to do some quick explaining to my 7 year old daughter that it was just movie blood because it did look quite real. It makes me wonder who the unlucky actor that got his brains blown out was. If I see anything else I will let you know. Sorry for not getting any pix but we got caught by suprise.

Keep up the good work,

Daddy Man
