MR. PRESIDENT wrote in with this correction to a story printed at Coming Attractions today. I had to edit out all of MR PRESIDENT's endless ramblings about "Duke of New York A Number One!!" Seems he had some sort of traumatic experience. Hmmmmm...
On wednseday, Corona reported that Mission Impossible 2 is now be co-written by Brannon Braga and Rick Berman. That is a half-truth. Yes, Braga is co- writting the script , not with Berman. Ron Moore is the other co-writter.
The duo who have penned the last 2 trek features and the still in development-Area 51,which BTW is now on the fast-track at New Line due to success of Lost In Space (Intentional Pun alert ) who sunk the Titanic , are working with John Woo and Tom Cruise on yet another version of the script. Paramount was very happy with Star Trek:First Contact performance, and not so happy with Marconi, so they brought Braga and Moore in for (what I hear is ) Big overhaul ,complete with Woo's and Cruise's input.
