Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

Michael Fleming of Variety broke the story that Marlon Brando was in talks to play a cameo in SCARY MOVIE 2.

Then a follow-up story ran. This time, there was a nugget of detail about Brando's proposed role.

"Weinstein said Brando agreed to the part - described only as that of a priest who performs a 'supernatural exorcism' - after meeting Keenan Ivory Wayans and finding a 'kinship with his brand of comedy.'"

Well, it turns out I got an exclusive cast listing here at the Labs that includes two rather familiar character names:

FATHER KARRAS and REGAN.

In the cast listing I got, Andy Richter was listed for Karras, and Natasha Lyonne is set as Regan. Sounds like Bob Weinstein may have added Marlon Brando as Father Merrin. That's right, Andy... from CABIN BOY to Brando... way to go, Richter!!

"Moriarty" out.
