OttoMaddox, you glorious bastard, thank you for making my morning.

I was just poking around my e-mail box, procrastinating on a negative review I really don't want to write, when the following letter appeared:

"Hey AICN,

"One of your regular chatters, OttoMaddox here. Anyway, I know that fanboys today will be waiting anxiously for the new TOMB RAIDER trailer, but I think I've got something better for you. Last night, I was stumbling around the Windows Media website, looking at the movie section, when suddenly I spotted in the "Movie Headlines" section that they had from some website called Film Speed which I had never heard of, the trailer for the new Terry Zwigoff movie GHOST WORLD, with Thora Birch.

Anxious to see anything from this movie (having heard the raves, which led me to go out and buy the comic), I immediately downloaded it and watched it, thinking it looked like a lighter version of the comic, but still REALLY cool. At least, it looks like a waaay cooler teen movie than that JOSIE AND THE PUSSYCATS thing looks. Here's the two links to where you can go to watch it:"

I read this script last year, and I thought Daniel Clowes and Terry Zwigoff did a remarkable job of adapting the quirky comic into something very real, very much a film. I've been looking forward to it since then, and having seen this trailer now, I can't wait.

"Do you serve beer or any alcohol?"

"After about five minutes of this movie, you're going to wish you had TEN beers."

MGM, you can't release this soon enough. Until then...
