Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
I recently got a look at some of what USA Films is up to for the year ahead, and I've gotta say... I've been rooting for this company for a while now. I just like the way they do things. They've made at least two great films so far (BEING JOHN MALKOVICH and TRAFFIC), and they've got some real winners on the slate for the year ahead. There's the black-and-white Coen Bros. untitled barber film, and the clip I saw from that was awesome. It's vintage Coen Bros. material, and I can't wait to see more.
That was just a single snippet, though, a clip taken out of context. I also saw a full trailer for a film I'd never heard of called SESSION 9, and it's official... I can't wait to get a peek at this thing. It looks like a seriously twisted psychological horror film, shot on high-def with a pretty solid indie cast. I'm working on getting the trailer digitized and up online for you. Until then, here's your first glimpse at the one-sheet for it:
I'll have more for you soon. Until then...
"Moriarty" out.
