A Great Picture From Guillermo Del Toro's THE DEVIL'S BACKBONE

Hey folks, Harry here.... Edgard from EUROAICN forwarded me this message and image from Guillermo Del Toro's latest Spanish horror film, THE DEVIL'S BACKBONE... And when I saw the picture I smiled a large smile indeed. You see, what almost nobody knows is that when Guillermo very first became interested in making this film it was under the title of THE BOMB.... And Guillermo was going to keep that title for a while until he thought about how that would simply tempt too many critics to say something stupid with their headline, so he decided to change the title to THE DEVIL'S BACKBONE... which is far more Horror-y than that... but the BOMB from the original title is what you see below... I won't say what the bomb does or how it comes into play, but I will say that I've seen the shots leading up to this moment and even though Guillermo had to shoot this film for NEXT TO NOTHING... he did the Pearl Harbor bomb shot from the trailer for less than $7000 and it even has rain in to boot... Hopefully at some point I could get Guillermo to divulge how me managed to pull off the fantastic shot.... wonderful... anyway without further ado... here ya go....

Hi,

This is a great photograph from Guillermo del Toro´s movie The Devil´s Backbone. A bomb falls from a plane in front of one of the kids of the orphanat where the story takes place.

I took it from spanish film magazine Imágenes de actualidad.

I hope you like it.

See you!
