Hey folks, Harry here with another terrorized extra from the set of SPIDER-MAN!!! That's right they even let Sprout on set for the shoot, and he saw some serious action being filmed.. Read on and weep at the thought of..... A YEAARRRRRRRRRR....
hey Harry its mon night just made it back from cali, I was able to get to the Spiderman set on Thursday, I saw no reviews of Thursday yet any way,
they filmed the fight again with the green goblin catching Spiderman's fist and kicking him, but that time I was running around in the crowd acting scared, now the green goblin was using a stunt man until the very end then willem dafoe jumped in, now after spidey got thrown through the tables, he hit a lamp post and it fell on a man, I think it killed him, but watching them do that stunt was really cool there was a big explosion there. then spidey is laying kinda confused by the lamppost and the goblin gets on his glider and starts throwing bombs so spidey has to haul ass and then the goblin chased him for like a block and a half throwing bombs at him and spidey has to jump over people do flips to avoid the bombs, one time a spectator fell in front of him and he did a hand flip over him, I thought he would try to save the person, but he did not he was too busy running, now they had the glider on a lift suspended and it went is a line while spidey ran a straight line, all on the side explosions went up all around him and when he finished his run his spidey suit was grey cause of the dust, so they did that shot 3 times and the third shot willem dafoe was in the costume.
now he did not actually throw the bombs then he went through the motions now I was not able to go Friday but I was told the green goblin was going to grab Mary Jane and take her to the top of the building and Spiderman would have to use his webs to get up there. and the whole set was to be destroyed.
now on another note was right up on spidey and the green goblin, spideys outfit is everything I wanted it to be, the goblins body suit reminds me of the first batman suit but green, there are muscles in the arms, chest and stomach, now I also did not like his mask its the back is like a alien head, from aliens, and his ears are connected to the helmet, now you can go to a Halloween shop and find really good mask that can move with your mouth, that's what he wore, not a helmet they could have done his whole outfit much better, but his glider was perfect though. and I did not see the bombs so I hope they are pumpkin.
Security was not tight at all I could have stolen a few things if I wanted, and the set was not safe there were wires everywhere and im surprised no one was hurt.
so just to recap here is what I know and saw, its weird on the movie it will only be 15-20 seconds but it took all day to film. the goblin jumps off his glider lands on a tent and kills 2 cops then spidey who had just save a girl flips on the tables and tries to punch him in the same movement, but ol goblin catches his hand and kicks him back throught the tables he came from and into the lampost that falls on a guy, the the goblin jumps back on his glider and throws a bomb near spidey, he runs for his life for a block while he does flips to avoid the bombs. Toby nor raimi were not on the set that day
