Greetings, citizens! ROBOGEEK here, holding down the fort while a horde of AICN irregulars are in San Antonio to see the restored and remastered SUPERMAN at the Regal Alamo Quarry 14. (In case you missed it, you can read my review here; and yes, I am going back to see it again this weekend!)
So far, early reports from San Antonio this evening are encouraging. Apparently quite a few people have made the trek from out of town, and there was a long line for the 7:00 screening at the Regal Alamo Quarry 14. Hopefully this is representative of other theaters - and SUPERMAN will hold its own against the NCAA Basketball Finals and the Oscars this weekend (as well as Jennifer Love Hewitt's breasts).
If you're in or headed to San Antonio to support the national re-release (which will or won't happen largely based on today's and tomorrow's box office), you can find a complete run-down of theater showtimes, addresses and phone numbers at the SUPERMAN RE-RELEASE UPDATE, which was posted earlier today (and includes a round-up of other news). You can find it at THIS LINK.
Also, FYI, the San Antonio Express-News published three stories about SUPERMAN today, which I thought I'd pass along in case you were interested (just click on the headlines to jump to each story)...
