Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.
Pardon my borderline-hysterical reaction, but there's CONAN news. Here at the Moriarty Labs, we consider any CONAN news to be good CONAN news. According to today's story at IGN FilmForce, John Milius has begun work on a screenplay called KING CONAN: CROWN OF IRON.
In a perfect world, Arnold Schwarzenegger would reprise his role as the barbarian for this final film. I literally pray for this film the way some of you seem to pray for an INDY 4 or a GHOSTBUSTERS 3 or a ROCKY 6 (AB King... are you out there?!?), hoping against hope that I'm going to get a chance to see a great sequel to one of my favorite films. CONAN THE DESTROYER doesn't exist in my world. I just pretend it never happened. Me, I've been waiting all this time for the sequel that was promised by those last few moments of the original brilliant CONAN THE BARBARIAN, the sequel that would introduce us to that warrior king we saw slumped in his throne, crushed by power.
And now, we're a little bit closer to seeing it happen.
