Caltanet unveils thoughts upon seen footage from Scorsese's GANGS OF NEW YORK!!

Hey folks, Harry here... Below you'll find a report and a link to the fuller version of a report that details an extremely spoiler filled scene from GANGS OF NEW YORK... BUT... an amazingly cool scene. What I've done to the information on this page is use the 'invisible text' feature so that you can read this without the problem of seeing THE SPOILER in question unless you highlight it. Quite honestly there's no reason to really know the invisible text as what I have left behind is actually far cooler.... but over at Caltanet (the link at the end of the story) you will find a great deal more... Far cooler info, but very very very spoilerish.... THIS sounds like it is going to be the AMAZING film we often hope for from Scorsese... I can't wait.

Francesco Alò, our chief editor, has seen a very interesting footage from Gangs of New York, even if Scorsese doesn't finished shooting!!! What we have seen is wonderful. In particular, there is the scene of Di Caprio's father death (with Liam Neeson, Daniel Day Lewis and Devon Murray, the actor who plays the young Amsterdam Vallon Junior, The character played later by Leonardo Di Caprio). But we have also some scene (very violent and spectacular) directed by Victor Armstrong, the director of the action unit, that are incredible.

Scorsese seems to use some of the stylistic choices, in the action scenes, of the modern action/kung-fu movies like, for example, Charlie's Angels (Armstrong directed the Second Unit of this movie) mixed with the stately use of the camera in the dramatic scenes (the death of Vallon Senior). And there is a woman with claws who looks like Wolverine and an extra who looks like a character of Mad Max or Escape from L.A. We made a report on Caltanet which describes in great detail this stuff. We divided it in chapters (What I’ve seen, The Death of Di Caprio’s Father…, No hands shall touch him!, Leone, Action!, Action 2, Colors). Of course, we don't know if the scenes directed by Armstrong will be in the movie after the final cut (instead, no doubt about the scenes directed by Scorsese).

You can read everything at: THIS LOCATION!!! Beware of Spoilers!

Thanks

Bye

Robert
