Hey folks, Harry here... seems like folks are beginning to shake out of the trees in regards to LILO & STITCH... To be honest, the folks that I've spoken with seem to absolutely exude the highest level of confidence and unbridled excitement when talking about this one. And because it seems to have such a great chance at being something remarkable... believe you me, we're gonna be keeping close tabs on this one. Beware of some spoilers below.... Here ya go...

I have been a long time admirer of your site and I just thought I would run some tidbits by you about Lilo and Stitch. Anyway my major was 3d animation and they had a specialization in classic animation as well. We would gather together every so often under the guise of theToon Society and beg some Disney folks to drop by and give us some info on the industry (we lured them to our 'headquarters' under this guise and then forced them to give us some helpful hints on animation as our instructor ).
We had one of the actual animators (not a cleanup guy or an inbetweener) come by one night after hours and give an impromptu 101 on animation.
He was real open about Disney's future projects ie Treasure planet, Lilo and Stitch, Sweating Bullets, and Bears. The last two he said were very premature and shakey at best as concepts. He told us some interesting bits about Lilo and Stitch...
The plot if you don't already know folows Stitch (an escaped alien convict) who lands on Earth and pretends he is a puppy to "hide" with Lilo(a young Hawaiian girl). Lilo, her older sister, and and this guy who is trying to put the moves on her all geat caught up in this crazy adventure as alien bounty hunters land on Earth to retrieve Stitch. Some of the more interesting little tidbits were that Stitch has either 6 or 8 legs can't remember witch and he has to tuck them up under his body to make himself look more like a dog, the boy (who's name I dont recall) is attracted to Lilo's older sister but he is intimidated by the fat that she is sightly taller than he is, the most interesting fact to us animation geeks was that the animators had devise a new type of walk cycle for the alien ambassador who hires the alien bounty hunters because he has three legs, the animator proceeded to demonstrate and I must say this looked extremely impressive.
The animator was really pleased with the work that was being done on Lilo and Stitch said it was the company's hope that it may rival their biggest hit the Lion King.....
