Well, it is time for the SUPER BOWL!!! As it has been for the last 28 years of my life, I will spend this year's Super Bowl at the FALK SUPER BOWL PARTY. A feast and party where everyone is inebriated and bloated with the flesh of animals from all ends of the food chain. As is usually the case, nobody particularly cares about either team, but... But we watch for the spectacle and with the hope of sharing in the enthusiasm of good company.
I will be getting rather messed up tonight, so don't expect me to be holding down the ol fort tomorrow night. BUT - AICN is going to attempt to get you as many of the cool trailers as soon as they become available. El Cosmico and Robogeek will be manning the battlestations... uncaring about the game... free of the sloopy dexterity that comes with inebriation... and freeing you to watch the trailers as they come in. And to comment here on the game, the commercials and the trailer spots...
I have heard that both LORD OF THE RINGS and HARRY POTTER are not going to be placing ads tomorrow at all. BUMMER. Sure, it is an expensive spot to buy, but frankly... It would have been a coup for LORD OF THE RINGS...
