Hey folks, Harry here.... Just got off the phone with Joel Schumacher, who is currently in the editing room... finishing up PHONEBOOTH... If you remember, back before Christmas we had reports that Joel was doing some shooting up in New York.... Well... That was it. He shot it in 10 days.... Period. 10 days? Ah, now that's filmmaking. I remember reading about the good ol days of Roger Corman, John Ford and the like all used to shoot in schedules similar to this, before films got so BIG. Now we have multi-year shoots! PROGRESS.... Ain't it grand! Joel is going to be doing a 'Filmmaker Diary' with ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY, where he'll be publishing his diary notes from the 10 days of filming. SO.... where did ShowbizIreland get confused? Did Entertainment Weekly get confused? I don't know, but now we aren't.... are we?
Hey folks, Harry here... Ol Joel Schumacher has really turned into a directing machine.... cranking the ol films out, and.... according to reports all over his latest... TIGERLAND is a superior work.... although I haven't seen it and seemingly it has never played Austin.... sigh... twiddling my thumbs.... And I'm genuinely curious about TIGERLAND because I'm hearing wonderful things about this actor.... Colin Farrell, who Joel is again using as the center of PHONEBOOTH... the project that Schumacher has been buried away in rehearsal time working on. Meanwhile our brothers in movie info in Ireland have forwarded us the text below.... at the same time that I found these two images staring at me earlier today! What team work!

Irish actor COLIN FARRELL, and director Joel Schumacher have just 10 days to shoot their new film Phone Booth because of its meager budget. "Everyone thinks we're crazy," Schumacher tells Entertainment Weekly magazine. "But you can only shoot with the money they give you. It can be done. A lot of money is wasted on a film...''
