Hey folks, ya know eclectic musical tastes? Well read below... Baz most definitely has eclectic musical tastes, and I am even MORE jazzed to hear, see and experience MOULIN ROUGE... Read on!
Hi Harry!
I was really happy to read that MOULIN ROUGE was one of the films that you're looking forward to seeing--me too! It so happens that I know someone that was worthy of receiving a present from Baz himself, it's a little story book of the film, wrapped in Moulin Rouge gift wrap, paper ribbon and printed red box--only 500 were produced.
The song selection from the film is as follows:
Diamonds are a girl's best friend
Like a Virgin
Addicted to Love
Sisters are doing it for themselves
Roxanne
Heroes
Nature Boy
Children of the Revolution
One day I'll Fly away
Love is like oxygen
Your Song
Rhythm of the night
One more night
Silly love songs
Pride (in the name of love)
Come What May
Chamma Chamma
Material Girl
Macho Man
Slave to the Rhythm
Physical
Diamond Dogs
Love is a many splendored thing
All you need is love
The show must go on
Lady Marmalade
Don't leave me this way
The sound of music
I will always love you
Don't leave me this way
I was made for loving you
and a few others I can't quite gather (didn't want to peel the Moulin Rouge sticker :). Quite exhaustive and varied--makes me want to see the film even more. The story book is packed with pictures from every part of the movie (I guess it would be, since it's a story book)
The movie looks amazing--I truly cannot wait for it (am envious of my friend, who's been allowed to watch an hour of it)
Have lots of news, but I don't want to get my friend in trouble :).
L
