Ya know the artist genius named Moebius, wait till you learn about THRU THE MOEBIUS STRIP!!!

Folks, Harry here and after reading a several thousand word PART ONE or a 2 part interview about the making of a new film entitled THRU THE MOEBIUS STRIP based upon the work of uber-genius Moebius. The film is to be all 3d computer animation... not 2d. Moebius is supervising everything and apparently this is really going to be something from the looks of it. DV.Com has printed the first half of this interview with multiple pictures of the designs and even a computer test shot in a rough state that still looks grand.

I can't imagine having to explain who Moebius is, but for those that don't know... the article gives you a quick history on his work... Sylistically for those that don't read comics or french art magazines and books... The style of Moebius' world can be seen in THE FIFTH ELEMENT, TRON, WILLOW, the Taarna sequence of HEAVY METAL, elements of BLADE RUNNER, and so on.... It is stunning and beautiful work, but for quite some time now Moebius has been attempting to get a feature film to capture his worlds completely. The long rumored AIRTIGHT GARAGE feature animation film seemingly turned into the Moebius section of Sony's METREON in San Francisco. But here they seem to be on path to make it happen.
