Hey folks, Harry here and Ye Meng is chiming in with a report on Jackie Chan and a new big budget Hong Kong financed flick. It's Jackie Chan in a period film... which I adore, so Let's keep our eyes on this one.
Hi, Harry!
Ye is here!
Yesterday, Hong Kong's Emperor Group reveald its plan of making a new Jackie Chan flick, Snake Head (temporary title), with a record-breaking budget of $40 million US (Hong Kong record). The movie is about human smuggling in the 1920s and Jackie will play a police office, a good cop. The entire film will be made in English and shooting locations include Australia and the US. A director who worked with Eddie Murphy in the past has been contacted. Jeung Gin-Ting who just finished Midnight Manhattan will be the producer.
