Hey folks, seems like Arnie is continuing to have career problems out the wazoo. First he can't get a completion bond to shoot T3.... now COLLATERAL DAMAGE is pushed from August 2001 to an undetermined date in 2002. Why? Noone is saying. Was there a test screening? Was footage that bad? The film certainly isn't effects heavy. Maybe it just blows and WB is embarrassed by the film... or maybe Arnie realized they were shuffling him off to August (the time where you don't get event respect) and he pitched a fit for a big date in the center of the summer and the film won't be ready for a june or july or may release 2001... so they pushed to summer 2002 and figured that'd be fine. Hmmm... whatever the case... AB will weep a bit....
Hey Harry, great site, bad news I'm afraid. (or good depending on your view of the Austrian Oak).
Thearnoldfan.com reports that both Warner Bros Netherlands and the main office have told them that that Collateral damage has been put back to summer 2002. Also, T3 might be shelved indefinitely due to Arnie's waning box-office muscle and inability to complete before the strike. Summer 2002 ?
Against episode 2 and the Matrix 2 ? bad idea. Maybe by delaying CD they hope to erase the bad memories of End of Days and the Sixth day. I liked the Sixth Day, too cheesy at the end though, but as we all know, economics rules in Hollywood.
Bluelou boyle.
