Ahoy, squirts! Quint here, sitting in my Bangor hotel room soaking up some Stephen King atmosphere and killing some time before my final night out on the town when what do I see, but a little Super Troopers 2 news.
As you can see from the image above Fox Searchlight has finally dated the movie. I know you're all super straightlaced and innocent, so allow me to explain to you that they picked 420 because that's a weed thing. And lots of weed-enjoying folks also like those Broken Lizard fellas. crazy, right?
These longtime coming comedy sequels don't have a great track record (lookin' at you Anchorman 2), but I'm hoping the Broken Lizard folks pull this one off. I'm a big fan of the first film and generally like the stuff they've done after. Hell, I'd go to bat for Club Dread. Not many people can say that!
More of these character should be a good thing and my fingers are crossed that they stick the landing.
