Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I've been a bit hard on the DCEU (for good reason!), but I gotta say this huge, 4 minute long trailer that just debuted at San Diego Comic-Con hits all the right notes. It's fun. It seems to have a focus on teamwork and friendship. The action isn't super cutty and you can tell what the hell is going on.

And maybe I'm crazy, but I swear to everything that is holy that there's a nod to Hal Needham's HOOPER with the smokestack almost falling on the Batmobile.
Intentional or not, I'm now going to forever picture 1970s Burt Reynolds doing the stunt driving for this shot. Fitting since the actor Hooper was stunt driving for in that film... Adam West! Batman connects us all!
