Jodie Whittaker, 35, who starred with John Boyega in “Attack The Block” six years ago, will play the 13th Doctor in “Doctor Who.”
She’ll be the first woman to tackle the role when she debuts in this year’s “Who” Christmas special.
She’s already done tons of British TV, including recurring roles on “Broadchurch,” “Cranford,” “The Assets,” “The Smoke,” “Tess of the D'Urbervilles,” “Wired,” “Dalziel and Pascoe” and “Marchlands.”
