Check Out The Barbara Crampton Starring Horror Feature Co-Written By Richard Stanley: REPLACE!

Hello ladies and gentlemen, happy Tuesday! Today I've got a look at a film that premieres Friday, June 16, (9:45pm) at the upcoming Los Angeles Film Festival! Fest's are clearly a solid way to check out films you simply might not see otherwise, and with the looks of how many flicks LAFF is screening, it'd be hard not to fall into a random screening of a fun movie on accident. That said, if you're in the LA area or plan to hit up this year's fest, here's a look at one of the features playing, perhaps something you might seek out if the trailer below grabs you. We've been given a poster for the film and I'll admit - the fact that Barbara Crampton is involved with a film Co-Written by Richard Stanley... yeah, I can't help but be curious how it turns out. There's a lot of talent packed behind this project, so fingers crossed it turns out to be as fun as the trailer suggests. If you happen to see the movie, please do shoot me your honest thoughts!

In this stylish horror-thriller, gorgeous young Kira is afflicted with a strange disease that makes her skin rapidly dry to the point of crumbling away, and she soon realizes that the only possible salvation is to replace it with the living skin of others. In her quest to stay young, can Kira’s murderous skin-lust evade detection by the police and her new lover Sophia? In its North American premiere, the Norbert Keil-directed film appears in LAFF’s Nightfall Competition section.
