Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Deathgasm was pretty damn good and now we have an idea of what director Jason Lei Howden will follow it up with. It's called Guns Akimbo and he's got Daniel Radcliffe attached to star!
The flick, which is selling its foreign rights at Cannes, is about an average joe type who gets sucked into an underground gladitorial competition that is broadcast to a huge darkweb audience.
The premise has a ring of Running Man to me, which is not a bad thing. Especially with someone as likeable as Radcliffe in the lead.
Howden's Deathgasm was a whole lot of fun and wasn't afraid to embrace some inventive silliness, which a lot of low budget genre shies away from these days. I expect the same level of entertainment with this one.
