Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. A24 just released a trailer for a Kirsten Dunst vehicle called Woodshock, from directors Kate and Laura Mulleavy. This trailer is experimental, beautiful and off putting, all things that could be a huge plus or minus to you, depending on your tastes.

Personally, I have a very low tolerance for arty-farty bullshit. Nothing turns me off of a movie faster than it trying really super-duper hard to be "important art." I'm not saying there's no place for these visions, it's just not my thing.
Will Woodshock fall into that category? Hard to tell. The trailer definitely leans in that direction, but I don't mind a bit of weird, quirky storytelling as long as there actually is a worthwhile story or characters pushing it all. Dunst has been killing it lately, especially in S.2 of Fargo. We'll see how this one turns out.
