Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. If you saw Logan you know how much of a superstar Dafne Keen is. It takes a special actor to pull attention away from a master thespian like Patrick Stewart or a charm machine like Hugh Jackman and this young woman did it with ease.
According to Deadline Ms. Keen has lined up her next movie and she's going to costar with another one of my favorite character actors: Luis Guzman! The movie is called ANA and it's about a down on his luck schlub who stumbles across a girl named Ana and they form an odd friendship as she tries to help him solve his problems.
The flick will be directed by Charles McDougal (House of Cards) and is written by Amazon's Mad Dogs scribe Cris Cole.
I don't know what to think about the plot, but I do know that I'm curious as hell to see these two interesting actors play together. Guzman's such a good personality onscreen and he can play gruff and sweet at the same time. Keen has also shown versatility as an actor. Laura in Logan is both incredibly tough and incredibly vulnerable. Can't wait to see what these two bring to this movie.
