Well, got this report from Mr Miracle, who's previous report checked out. That doesn't mean the following is correct, but it does ad to the chance of it's validity. And when you hear who is being mentioned as J. Jonah Jameson, you'll wish you had a pair of Depends on. If it isn't correct, then it sure as hell needs to be. Also, it's nice to see that the news I had on the site months ago about Fox waiting till after the Academy Awards to give Jim his deserved dough is pan frying out. BUT enough with TITANIC, we want SPIDER-MAN!!! Jim's got his awards, now we want our asses kicked and buried by Parker. I want to see Flash Thompson! I want to see Mary Jane! Come on 'powers that be' make it so...
It is Mr Miracle again, the one who delivered a small scoop on Rambo 4 not too long ago. I have a few tidbits to pass along from my weekend trip in LA. First, Spiderman is all but go. I happened to be in first class with an exec with MGM and he let me know (after a few free rum and cokes) that Jim Cameron has been throwing around casting ideas. Already there has been talk of Gloria Stewart as Aunt May, and of course, Leo DiCaprio would be interested to be the web-slinger himself. What you don't know is that R. Lee Ermey, Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket has been tossed around to play nemisis J. Jonah Jameson. Not real big news, but something nonetheless.
