Hey folks, Harry here... I really loved THE CONJURING 2 by James Wan. NUNS have terrified me since THE BLUES BROTHERS. I wasn't raised on THE FLYING NUN, so once that Nun painting showed up in CONJURING 2... I was like... FUCK NO. Why would you paint something... so obviously wrought with the evil that nobody speaks of cuz it eats you if you do. Well, just as the first conjuring paved the way for the two ANNABELLE movies, so has the 2nd film, giving way to THE NUN.
Corin Hardy, who made the alright horror indie, THE HALLOW, which never really found its audience. Well he's directing. He was also signed up for THE CROW, which. Well, who knows. Anyway, seems THE NUN will move first, as they've cast the lead as Demian Bichir according to THR, who is coming in off of ALIEN: COVENANT for Ridley Scott. In THE NUN, Bichir will play Father Burke, who is sent to investigate the death of a nun, who I presume will be THE NUN of the title - and will further make me think, FUCK NO, everytime I see a Nun in their habit. The film will shoot this summer in Romania, beautiful place... for a release next summer on July 13th, 2018 against The Rock in SKYSCRAPER and HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 3.
