Hey folks, Harry here... Paul Thomas Anderon has been shooting his new film starring Daniel Day Lewis since this January in Whitby, England - you can see photos from set here, but we learned today that the working title is apparently THE PHANTOM THREAD and the film is set in the 1950's Fashion World of London. Today, they've announced a pair of actresses to join them. Mike Leigh's SECRETS & LIES actress Lesley Manville has signed up. Then there's Vicky Krieps (HANNA & THE COLONY)
At this point - we haven't even a Phantom Thread about this film beyond that. But knowing that it's Paul Thomas Anderson and Daniel Day-Lewis - well, it'll be most likely brilliant. Oh - and that they've shot in Robin Hoods Bay & Staithes, England. As for the working title, THE PHANTOM THREAD... all I know is it must be purple, or else Lee Falk'll be disappointed. Giggle
