Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Well, well, well. Shane Black's Predator flick gets more and more interesting with each passing announcement. First the film gets loaded up with great rising character actors like Boyd Holbrook (who took over for Benicio del Toro), Trevante Rhodes, Sterling K. Brown (who killed it as Chris Darden in The People v OJ Simpson) and Keegan-Michael Key and then it came out that Thomas Jane could be joining the crew and now we find out that young Jacob Tremblay will be facing off with an ugly motherfucker, too.
The star of ROOM will play Holbrook's son, per THR and knowing Shane Black and Fred Dekker's talents at writing kid characters I'm actually super psyched to see someone as talented as young Master Tremblay spewing that patented kick-ass Black & Dekker dialogue. Keep in mind these two scripted Monster Squad together. I expect some nard-kicking to happen at some point.
The movie starts filming next month and I'm beyond excited to see what these nuts come up with in their big bad Predator tale. What about you?
