Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Ah, Innerspace. This was one of the most watched movies of my later childhood. I still can't hear Cupid by Sam Cooke without thinking of this film.
Joe Dante has a lot of great films under his belt and most of them mean a great deal to my develoment as a film geek. Gremlins, Gremlins 2, Innerspace, The 'burbs, Matinee... all of these hit me at just the right time in my life. Matinee in particular, but we'll talk about that one at a later date, I'm sure.
Today we're focusing on Innerspace, Dante's take on Fantastic Voyage that goes into some really bonkers territory, especially when cowboy Robert Picardo shows up.
This pic was shared by Dante himself on his Twitter page a while back and I had to archive it and make sure it found its way into this column. It shows off some of the effects work that went into the making the movie as awesome as it is. Enjoy!

I know we just left Halloween season behind, but tomorrow's pic, featuing a horror icon, made me smile and I can't help but dip back into some genre stuff right away. See ya' for that one tomorrow!
