8 hours till I awake to arrive at the Alamo Drafthouse. That's all the sleep I will need, because after a sleepless week it's time for the big snooze... which noone will be doing this weekend.
Now, I tell ya what I'll do, for all you folks at home... unable to be here... I'm gonna suggest alternate movies of the same tonal quality to watch at home while we watch at the Alamo Drafthouse. Gather your friends... and begin....

Stay awake... no fast forwarding... get your friends.... get a shitload of beer.... Bring out pillows and blankets.... nachos, popcorn, pizza.... This weekend... wherever you are.... JOIN IN! Experience it in a minor form. Are you hosting, introduce each film.... Make fun of each other... If someone falls asleep... put their hand in warm water.... put toothpaste in their shoes.... punish the weak..... REWARD THE STRONG!
The above films are not indicative in any way other than in tone and coolness to the parallel films that I am showing. 5 films, noone in the room will have seen before... except me at least. 3 of the films, I have not seen. Harry out! Literally... the eyelids are closing and the fun is beginning. I will be sharing with you some of the beautiful wrongness that we have incorporated into the event later. There will be trailers (old and new) and shorts (old and new) interspersed through the evening... Celebrities? No.... Cool people that love movies that make them.... YES. Then again, you could be that person too!
