Well here is a film that I have little to no faith in. The script was lacking and the cast is less than convincing. I hope for the best... but I just wish better people and material was throughout. I guess this is the role where we'll see what Peter Jackson was talking about... when he had cast Townsend in the role of Aragorn before... stepping back and going with Viggo. Brasslord here with some Vampire news from Downunder where the new Anne Rice film "Queen of the Damned" is being filmed.
For those who've read the book, the rock concert scene has just been completed and thousands of Goths were used in the filming.
The big news? We all know that Aaliyah is playing the Queen of the Damned, however as Tom Cruise is not playing Lestat, his shoes will be filled by....Stuart Townsend.
The other casting tidbit is the role of Marius, being filled by Vincent Perez, from the Crow.
