Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed in the lack of headshots and puppy vengeance shown in the trailer for Keanu Reeves' next film, but as the Stones famously said you can't always get what you want.
We do have John Wick 2 coming to us at some point in the near future, so in the meantime we'll just have to be thankful for whatever else Keanu wants to give us. His latest is a courtroom drama called THE WHOLE TRUTH, which has a pretty cool cast. Keanu, of course, as the defense lawyer, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as his co-chair, The Hive and Kings of Summer's Gabriel Basso as the young defendent accused of murder, Jim Belushi as his dead dad and Renee Zellweger as his scheming mom.
The tone and feel of the trailer reads a tad generic to me, but I dig the femme fatale vibes coming off of Zellweger here and have hope that there's some twists and turns to this story that aren't blatantly obvious from the trailer.
