Isn't that just dandy? Jake Kasdan is helming this and I still believe his first film was my favorite. ZERO EFFECT is an excellent film. Very Twilight Zone. Since that, Jake has gone much more commercial comedy with hits like ORANGE COUNTY, WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY, BAD TEACHER & SEX TAPE. Now here's the thing, those are all a whole lot of fun. And this JUMANJI isn't apparently a remake, but a continuation of the original film. Which is a bit odd to wrap my head around. Also announced today is that Ser'Darius Blain and Madison Iseman have joined the cast in a pair of younger roles. With The Rock, Jack Black, Kevin Hart and Karen Gillian... and most importantly - modern CG which is many miles better than when they first attempted this story. Which had some very... off effects moments, but was fun. Personally, I greatly prefered ZATHURA...
