Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Boy do I love me my Super Troopers. It's one of my comfort movies, the kind of thing I can throw on if I'm in a bad mood and it'll turn things around.
The fact that these dudes are reteaming for a sequel makes me insanely happy. There's not a great track record for decades-later comedy sequels, but if anybody can pull one off it's Broken Lizard back as these characters.
The crowdfunded sequel just started shooting and Deadline has announced that Emmanuelle Chriqui has been cast. Chriqui is most known for playing Sloan in Entourage and will joining Farva, Thorny, Rabbit, Mac and Foster in the Super sequel.
She'll be playing a French-Canadian cultural attache named Genevieve Aubois. No word on whether or not she'll share the screen with Car Ramrod.
I really hope they nail this one. I'm dying to revisit this group! I want to see this movie right meow!
